Buying an old PowerMac from an employee and I need to get an idea what it's worth. I checked ebay but couldn't find enough useful statistical data to determine a fair price. Most of them were dual 1.8 systems and most of the single 1.8 systems were the older (better) version.

What I'm looking at is the M9555LL/A from Late 2004. 4 DIMM slots, 3 64-bit PCI slots (not PCI-X), 600Mhz FSB, etc. It's bare stock config with 256 megs of RAM, 80 gig hard drive, superdrive, etc. No airport, no bluetooth, no monitor. Just the original system as shipped with keyboard, mouse, and DVI-VGA adapter.

Anyone know what this is worth?

Not a chance, I can get a dual 2.0 for 850-1200

That makes me feel good. I just sold my Dual 2,0 (rev B) that I got as an Apple refurb back in Jan ($1450) for $1850.

Always nice to make a profit and put the $$ towards a MBP

Thanks for the suggestions. More than I'd say it's worth and less than he thinks its worth so $700-800 is probably right in the ballpark. :)
