Value of Original iPhone sealed?

I have seen some of the Ebay postings of the Original IPhone sealed in the box. 50k.... 100k etc.

Does anyone know how much people have actually PAID for a sealed original iPhone??

$599 for 8G with AT&T contract.. then after 2 months the price dropped to $399 with the contract.
