It's pretty good. So far the only difference between this and the site is the ability to chat to friends. I can view my wishlist but not my library.

I really hope they add (as someone else pointed out!) a way to buy games remotely and have them download on your home computer.

How? The App Store and Game Centre achieve the same goal. It's down to developers if they choose to support iOS as a platform, not Valve.

Because Valve could attract some big-time developers to iOS (not to mention Valve themselves). I thought that was obvious.

That was an awfully quick thumbs up ;).

But there's no need. If a developer wants to make an iOS app then they can, no developer is tied to Valve, and iOS devices have similar tech to Steam. It's completely redundant. I thought that was obvious.
