decided to actually pay for one of these and i must say im not even close to disappointment. I loved the style of the vapor but wasn't paying 90 bucks for it, so i decided to hit ebay for a knockoff. The logos pissed me off cause it looked dumb but to my surprise the case has no logos what so ever. Obviously a huge plus, the case comes with carbon fiber sides, front, back and two extra screws. The case was a little hard to put on, and once it's on it moves just a tad, that's if i put any type of force to it. Not sure if that happens with the vapor or not.

signal wise i still have full 5 bars, sometimes 3 or 4. GPS works perfectly fine, it can locate my location with no problem. Not going to do a speed test with and without the case so i'll just add one with the case on. So for about 17 bucks i came out winning and im extremely happy with this purchase. Anyone willing to try one out should, but again i live in NYC and always get great signal. The seller actually sent me the wrong color, i ordered sliver and blue not black and blue. Going to contact him about that, otherwise it's nice.

Mine just came today also but I got the cnc machined ones. The finish is exactly like the Vapor 007. No signal issues whatsoever just like my old vapor ones .Overall I'm very satisfied with the case.

what do you mean by cnc machined ones. Also, does this happen to your vapor and ebay one?

Thank you for posting those photos!

i think you are one of the first 2 do so!

I ordered the red and black. How long did it take for it to ship out to you?

I'll do a video review when mines comes in since no such videos exist yet.

looks great - how is the quality of the CF backing?

pics of that please

The one I bought is cnc machined aluminum unlike yours. Yours is the aluminum and zinc ones. I think that the finish on yours is painted so it would scratch more easily.

i get what you mean, can't have it all for 17 bucks. how much did you pay for yours anyway? does he have more? would like to check out the colors.

took about 5 days, very fast shipping. lol The CF is useless, it's cheap, thinner than the lucky lab ones and it sticks to the paper it was posted on and rips a long with it if you try to peel it. I didn't order it for this so i don't care really.

wow - mine is coming from hong kong - should be here in another 10 days lol

your going to scratch your glass though - hmm - wonder how are the vapor cf backs then - if they are garbage too

Here are a couple of pics of mine. It's the exact copy of the first gen Vapor because of no opening for the sim slot and the headphone part is smaller. But overall very nice finish.

love the silver. i noticed playing some games on with the case on is very comfortable, the curves have a nice grip.

btw is that version of the case thicker? looks like it from the pics.

Looks nice. I wonder if someone bought the cad designs for the vapor that were for sale online at one time?

Yea from the pics it does look a little thicker but no , it's not same exact thickness of the original Element vapor.

How many sardines can you fit in that thing??

How's the signal ?
I love the look but can't afford any lost in signal strength!

UPDATE

i received my red and black case and it looks pretty sharp!

feels nice to touch.

I think where the problem can exist with the cell signal is the application of the foam pads on the insides of the casing.

It comes with adhesives that YOU must add to the insides.

If you don't properly apply these then the metal will touch.

Now with my jailbroken phone i was able to see no degradation of signal.

that said Just like the Real Vapors - The port is so ***** small it wont even work with my bmw ipod link, old ipod cables, or my kensington car charger

lol - soooooooooooooooo

i'm going to take a drill and hog the bottom hole a bit bigger.

I think it's so stupid that Vapor and this knockoff slimmed the opening.

I also have matte spray paint so i'll just repaint it.

anyways - it looks hot - i'll post up photos soon - :D
