hi,im a tourist from India ,currently in sweden .I plan on buyin the new iphone X from here. Can i claim the VAT (that is 25% ) back when im at the airport. The prices in europe are sky high as compared to other countries.

If i buy directly from apple store.can i get the 25% VAT back.
any takes>?
thankyou

any idea how much VAT can be refunded?
any percentage?
i read its 25%.is it correct?

Normally, the VAT/GST is refunded at the Airport, provided the seller issues a stamped form, which is to be submitted at the Airport. Some stores in some countries, do refund in the shop itself after verifying Passport and return ticket.
Check at the Apple store, if they do issue this form for refund of VAT. Normally the seller have a logo displayed, stating "VAT refund" or similar.
99% sure Apple stores don't do this.

Pro-tip: If you do buy the phone, don't pack as-it-is in your suitcase. Indian Customs will levy duty upon your arrival. Remove the phone, put it in your pocket and keep the empty box, with contents distributed evenly in your checked in luggage.

thanks for the tips.
but im still unclear about the phone VAT. i know i can get my VAT back on other items like clothes etc.just want to be sure about the iphone (particularly)
