I'm encountering a vBulletin database error when attempting to acces the following threads:
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1704459/
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/370725/

The error reads:

Database error
The MacRumors Forums database has encountered a problem.
Please try the following:

* Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
* Open the forums.macrumors.com home page, then try to open another page.
* Click the Back button to try another link.

The forums.macrumors.com forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

I've cleared the browser cache but the error persists. I also get this error when using the "Contact us" form, liked at the bottom of the site.

we had some issues with our host, which resulted in our database getting uncleanly shut down and we had some corrupted tables.

We should be back, now.

Thanks, arn. I didn't actually think this thread was created because everything I did resulted in the error. Glad everything is back up and running. These forums are quickly becoming my favorite.
