Glad to hear things are settling down. But I have one concern maybe you can clear up. Who's going to run the government until the next election? This can be the most difficult time. Good luck.
The sad thing about that is that this scenario was around for so long that about mid night there was a new provisional president.
We have 2 main "chmabers" one is the Chmaber of Comerce (Sorry, I do not have in hand the exact name in english) that is group former by all the industrial people and the owners of every comerce, well, the president of that chmaber is our actual provisional president. He was too one of the organizers of the National Strike for the resignation of the president. The other person that organize the strike was the leader of the Union workers. As you may know, this two group of people are allways agains each other but for some time now they are togather against their commun enemy that was the president and his administration.
Let me remind you that this type of situations are not normal in Venezuela. The last time we had a problem like this was in 1992 and was cause by the same man trying to kill the president that we had at that time. As he is a total looser he fail that time too. And befor that coup the last one was in 1945 or something like that.
Returning to the question, right now we have this provisional president (that is a good man) and he is gonna take car of everything for a yera or less, togather with one representant of the army, church, etc. That is to regulate every aspect of the country before fall in to elections. Even the vice president is hidding some where.
So, I'll keep in touch if any one have a question, this is a very interesting process. At list I'm not in such hurry to leave this country witch I eventually do, because on the other hand this place ins not boring at all, and once I move to Florida or some other place I feel very bored. I just wish I could make more money down here but for the things I do I feel force to move to Miami at list.
Thanx for the invitation to Australia but there I won't find our venezuelan girls
