Verizion data plans for iPad

Im I wrong or I thought if you run out of data befor the 30 days you can buy 1 gig for 10 dollars befor yr plan renews I don't see that optiion when I go in settings only 2 gig for 30 and do on

I think the $10/1GB extra is only available on the postpaid plans and not available it you signed up for data on your iPad.

Shows the $10 per 1gb "rate after allowance".

Devices that were purchased without service, does not have that option.
