Carrier Verizon $0 Promo Question

ok I ordered a 128GB 7+ matte black on 09/10. It says it won't ship until 10/12. Will I still be able to trade in my 6+ for the $650? I'm worried that they'll all of a sudden say they'll say "we met the number of trade ins allowed already" or "it's too late for that promotion." Anyone know for sure? I also did this online so if I understand this correctly when I get the 7+ I request trade in for my 6+ online as well or do I take it to store? Been unclear for me from start.

You should have completed the trade in online at the same time as the order.

They send you a box and you ship out the old phone when you get the new one. Doesn't sound like you did this.
 
They told me I trade in after I get phone. I guess I can still do this now?
 
While the promotion ends on 9/30, as long as you do it before 9/30, you are fine. You have 30 days to send it back.

I got my 7 Plus on 9/22/16 and signed up for the trade in Promotion on 9/23/16 and I got my boxes today, which I will send my 6S Plus tomorrow.

Is there a sign up that you have to do before? Link?

Good thing I asked because they said just wait for phone online then request trade in.
 
The order or preorder needs to be completed by 9/30 regardless when you receive the device. Then trade in old device after you receive the new one. I highly recommend doing the trade IN THE STORE and you will get a receipt for $650. See my other post.

Oh okay. Even if I ordered online, I can take it into a store and they'll take care of it?

It has been confirmed by many that you need to preorder the iPhone 7 before 9/30/16 to still be eligible for the trade in value. Once the iPhone 7 is active on your account you either complete the trade in and the system will recognize the promo or you bring to a corp store. I have spoken to two different reps. A family member also confirmed with a corporate store. Rep said to bring the devices when the 7's arrive and they will complete the $650 credit.

So as long as your phone order is in their system before 9/30/16 then you should be fine, regardless that you will receive the phone in October.
 
Hey guys - I already have one iPhone 7 on order with a trade-in setup for my iPhone 6. I won't get it for a couple more weeks. Now I want to add another iPhone 7 to the same account and trade in a different phone. Anybody know how to add to my order? Can I do that in the store? I can't see how to do it online.
 
If you want something in writing, direct message with Verizon CS via twitter. They confirmed what was stated here; start order before 9/30 and once the phone 7/7+ has activated, complete trade in at store.

Create a new order for the additional phone. No need to change the existing order. Once you receive each phone you can trade in the old phones.

Thanks. I'll try that. FYI - They are giving $400 for an iPhone 5c 8GB. You can buy them on ebay for about $100 in decent shape.
 
I should be getting my phone today or tomorrow. When I got to verizon online and try to trade in my iPhone 6 Plus, it comes up $450 promo instead of $650. I ordered on 09/10 so I should get $650. Anyone else have this happen? I guess I should go into the store and have them do it instead?
 
Wait until you receive your iPhone 7. After you activate it, the online system will recognize that you've put the 7 on your account. Then when you go to appraise your 6+, it will show the $650. I ran into the same problem as you. Verizon chat told me multiple times to just wait until i receive and activate our 7's. After they are activated, it works like a charm.

I work as a sales rep for AT&T. As long as you ordered your phone before the promotional period you're fine. Doesn't matter what carrier you're with the offer is the exact same.
