Verizon 4s unlocked-How do I confirm?

Verizon unlocked my 4s for international sim. I reeceived email stating as much. They also stated that Apple must also perform a task as well. Is there anthing on phone to confirm that it has been unlocked and ready for international sim? Thanks

Insert T-Mobile SIM card in there and see if you get signal.

That, or restore via iTunes and have iTunes tell you its unlocked.
