Now we have people ordering in the afternoon getting the elusive JB models 12 hours after people ordered the same one and my MB still hasn't shipped.... this has become no longer amusing and crossed over into the severely INEPT classification... this is nuts.

This has taken me from mildly irritated to infuriated. I don't care that I didn't get it release day. That's fine, short supply, whatever. What gets under my skin is the fact that my staying up to order first did nothing compared to ordering later.

Yeah... I was up at 3AM fighting the site to order it. Granted I was at the beach and didn't have to miss work or really anything but getting drunk in a hammock the next morning... it's still ridiculous that people who ordered casually the next day are getting them.
 
Yes this is very unorganized pre order process without any rhyme or reason.

No movement from my Verizon order with a delivery date of 9/28 and Apple is shipping the same configuration iphone to their customers who had mid October to late October dates. While we wait for Verizon to get their head out their asses

I didn't get the RG but I placed my name on the reserved list at the same Target...they received 7 pluses this morning - one a matte black 128gb that was a preorder if the person doesnt come get it today - Im taking it tomorrow morning. I am tried of this circus and disappointment
 
Verizon will prolly have to increase our bills due to the increase in customer support needed to address all of the issues they have created by totally botching this preorder...

7+ JB 256 ordered 12:09 am pst 9/9 original ship by date 9/28
Fedex was going to deliver tommorow but i got it today.

Stuck at work currently so cant wait to go get my device
 
If I get no movement at all today I am calling Verizon to see what I can get out of this. I want to know where my phone is, if a phone even exists, and why I even wasted my time pre-ordering if people who ordered the next day are getting theirs and I still haven't even been charged.

I don't want much... a little info would be nice and maybe removing that stupid $20 upgrade fee... I feel I at least deserve a ridiculous fee taken off my account. They get enough of my money.

Push more then just the 20 for the upgrade fee! thats a giving Reps told me one i get my first bill with that on it call and have it credited. Verizon was running that promo at time of pre order that they will waive that fee.

let us know what you get so we all know to push for it as well.

I called them over lunch, took 40 minutes of hold time and I kid you not I was told " you know we have other ways to order the latest iPhone each year, if you aren't satisfied with our process I suggest you try ordering from Apple or visiting a store on launch day"..... they had no desire to try and answer why the shipping order is so FUBAR.... and this was after I got passed around to "higher" ups.... probably the people sitting in their cubicles right next to one another.... Verizon is expensive, has terrible customer service, and as we have seen by this Fiasco their logistics suck. There isn't another cell provider with adequate coverage where I live... so again, I'm screwed.

I probably would have said "Sprint" if they suggested other ordering options at this point.

Speaking of which I bet Sprint would give me a better deal than Verizon on my Verizon bill...

Ordered mine from the Verizon store 9am 9/12 and mine still shows 11/23 :confused:

I called today because there is a chance I'll be relocating to Florida for work and I was worried about the devices shipping to the store here in Ilinois. I asked if there was any outside chance it would be shipping earlier and the rep told no. That my ship date will most likely be pushed back to December 3rd :mad: wtf!!!
 
PM?! I ORDERED AT 3AM?! WTF VERIZON.
Yeah I had to order the JB 256 GB 7+ cause the 128 GB said November by the time I was able to place my order through at 4:30 AM over the phone (had an issue ordering online otherwise I would've gotten a 9/28 128 instead of a 10/05 256). Still no movement.

Maybe every time someone calls they push their date back LOL. I know that's what I wanted to do when we were waiting months for a manufacturer to ship us something and customers called everyday asking where theirs were. But now I'm on the other side and resisting so much not to call haha
 
So I live in area where there are three Targets within about a half hour drive. Two of them had pluses in Stock for walk in purchase, just not in Black.
