Carrier Verizon 7 Plus Ship Yet? Post here...

Nice day out today, so I talk a walk from my office to the Verizon store in center city, Philadelphia. Walked by the Apple store along the way and there were about 25 people in line outside. At the Verizon store there was no line and I asked the employee who was hanging outside if they got any pluses. He said they didn't get any in at all. Not that I was expecting any.

Still waiting for some movement on my order:

128 Plus Black
128 Plus Silver (on same order)
Expected ship date on 9/28

Haven't seen any mention of silvers on this forum at all. The wife's choice is holding me back. Had that order in at 3:15 AM on 9/9.

Why does he need to show a picture of the box? The argument is he didn't get it at a Best Buy because Apple said there would be no in stock at stores. That didn't mean Best Buy. That receipt is clearly proof.
If you guys don't want to believe him, then don't, but I certainly do.
I cant believe people make as big a deal as they do over a phone. I enjoy these pre-order shenanigans as much the other guy, but dang.

Agreed, in fact Apple said there MAY be stock of iPhone 7+ at other stores. They declined to comment on the availability. So some stores certainly got some stock in. I'm all for being cynical, but it seems rather obvious he isn't lying at this point.

Thank you man. I really have no reason to lie. I was in same boat as a lot of people, my status never moved from "Processing". Figured I'd give BB a call and surely enough he said he had 2 in stock so I rushed over and was out of there in about 25 minutes. Such a smooth process. Came back home and cancelled Verizon order but kept the Rose Gold order in because BB didn't have any Rose Golds.

He ordered it. Wont be delivered until Nov time frame.

Just curious, but how did you do the upgrade before you cancelled your order with VZW?

Lucky! My BB didn't have any pluses available :( when you placed your verizon order, were you doing an upgrade?

See that I'm not sure of and was hoping it didn't screw up. It just let the Rep go through the process somehow. When I asked him if he can cancel my pre-order, he said of course he can. But he thought I was talking about my Best Buy preorder and not my Verizon. He said "Oh, we can't cancel the Verizon one. But let's try to go through it anyways." And it went through, maybe because it was still in the "Processing" stage?

It was a device payment plan so once I get my 7+ from them I would've had to return it in the box. At Best Buy, they gave me an envelope and a USPS label to return my 6S+ within 14 days.

seriously so lucky! when i called my BB, the automated machine said that the only way to find out inventory for iPhones was to go to the actual store because they weren't giving out information through the phone. so when i tried to order online on BB and do an upgrade it wouldn't allow me cause it said i still had a pending account change through verizon. damn you lucky! lol
 
Business customer- Im in the reception area of my office and UPS comes in with 1 phone size looking box..( I received fed ex tracking) I run over, grab the box anddd its an IPHONE!! only not mine, a guy I work with who ordered on his personal account and not the business one IM on..and also it was just a 7 not a plus. He ordered through apple at like 8:00 am on the 9th though..the regular sevens had plenty of stock..it was just the pluses and JB that there wasnt enough of..I think Apple just grossly underestimated what the demand would be and also probably had some supply setbacks as well.

Matches his earlier post where he mentioned he is from MI. I called the number listed and inquired about their iPhone 7+ stock. They said they have not received a single 7+.

Give it a call and see. You cannot use the automated service. It says they will not give the inventory over the phone. I spoke to a live person and said I would be on my way if they had any, he said they did not receive any.

Dude why make stuff like this up.
 
I ordered around 3:20 EST on Verizon site after the mess of site issues they had.
7 Plus, Black, 256 charged last night and shipped UPSGround2 today with no tracking info yet.

I'd also like to thank Verizon for not shipping it overnight. I'm happy they saved money at the expense of my satisfaction.

Don't listen to the automated message! Get through so somebody and ask them if they have any. They'll give you an answer. But yes, I indeed get very lucky.

Dude are you insane? The question is why would THEY make that stuff up to you? I am literally sitting here with an iPhone 7+ in hand. I posted a receipt to show proof. Quit being so salty and making false accusations about me lying. I have better things to do than to sit on a forum and to lie to a bunch of random people. You also see that I wasn't lying that I'm from Michigan. I picked up the phone, brought it home with the receipt and showed it to everyone. Do you think I sat here and photoshopped a whole receipt just to lie? Seriously dude, be a little more realistic.

I can confirm some BB do have 7+ in stock. My local vzw doesn't have a single one.

20 min ago at BB, a family of three just bought three 128G MB (the only three) in front of me and said sorry to me...:(

man, that would be awesome. as long as i was home to get it in my hands. right now i'm slotted for tuesday with the 2 day shipping. hell even saturday would be awesome but it says weekday shipping.
 
Apparently Best Buy does have MB128+ in stock for shipping.

Where do you think he got that paperwork from? He found it on the internet and it just so happened to match up with his story? And who did you talk to? Someone from the mobile department? Are you sure?

Short answer is yes, you have a chance.

Longer explanation is under normal circumstances, the answer would be no. A label created this late would just mean Fedex will start moving it tomorrow. But as we know, iPhone launch day is not normal.

This is my 5th iPhone launch day with Verizon and they've got a decent track record for me so I'm still holding out a little hope. Maybe 10%.

My guess is that Apple dumped a bulk shipment with Verizon sometime yesterday in PA and then verizon people just went to work picking and shipping as fast as they can. Since its bulk and a rush, it's possible they just slapped labels on each box and sorted by pallet to each fedex hub. So no time to scan each box at the main hub. They'll get scanned at arrival or when they go on a FedEx truck for delivery.

About the latest I've seen something go on a FedEx truck for delivery is 11 am. So keep refreshing until then. If it doesn't update by then, probably Monday.

I should note, some people have said in the past they've just gotten the box. So it wasn't scanned until delivery. So if you're really optimistic, refresh all day.

The one savings grace is verizon is using FedEx and apple is using UPS. So hopefully FedEx has enough capacity to get these things delivered today.

Any Luck with your phone?? No movement for me..I was really holding out some last bit of hope..mostly based on your reply to me! I guess its over and no phone till monday.
