Good luck if you can use that much data with their sh**ty coverage. They already throttle once you get 28GB of usage. I'm referring to majority of their customers, not to a person who stays in one place all the time.

I'm not buying that. Those age old rumors about T-Mobile have been debunked.

T-Mobile can bring you to the fountain of unlimited fresh flowing data, but we can't drink that stuff for you. You have to sign up on T-Mobile and drink it for yourself.

We brought people to T-Mobile's streaming fresh flowing unlimited data, and those who were not willing to join will lay on their back and they will die.

You're not going to join T-Mobile for yourself. You need a Shepard. You need to be led.

I'm at 90GB and still going!! Fresh Flowing Stream of unlimited data

Not a bad deal price wise for the amount of data you get but my RingPlus BLT plan kinda blows this one out of the water:
  • 6000 min
  • 6000 txt
  • 6000 mms
  • 6000 mb
  • $0/month

Mobile prices in Denmark:

Unlimited Calling and Data: 17,7$ / month (www.plenti.dk)
or
Unlimited Calling and 8 GB Data incl 3LikeHome = works in 40 countries incl USA: 22.3 $ / month (www.3.dk)

Seems like you lack some mobile carrier competition in the US :)
We are back to this irrelevant nonsense again? Let's just ignore the size of the country to be covered or the population or almost anything else that would actually play a role in reality. How much is your gas (as in gasoline) by the way? Seems like you lack completion in various other goods and services in other parts of the world. :)

This is actually really good. I currently pay $65 for unlimited with cricket (ATT). It's capped at 8gbps, but that's never been an issue.
actually it's only $50 now for 8gb($45 with autopay). They just changed it last month. That's what I have.

Edit
Sorry read that wrong. I mixed up the speed for data usage. Maybe I should have my coffee before getting in here.

I just find it strange that my mobile subscription from a non-US country is a lot cheaper and that it can also be used in the USA, all of EU + more. And yes, the price is including our crazy 25% sales tax. So please don't be angry at me - direct it to the US mobile providers ;)

(and yes we pay like x2 for gasoline here, but that is all due to extra taxes.. and nothing else really)

Someone wants to have cellular service for calls (and texting), and can just use data when they are on WiFi, if needed?

Are you saying that for $30 a month I can get an iPhone with unlimited talk and text but no data? That's not a bad deal, but I won't believe it until I see the plan.

It mostly has the same features. I think VM transcription is an extra $2 or $3/month.

As far as my experience has been, all the providers charge a "smartphone access fee" on postpaid plans. With a prepaid you can expect a few $ in taxes/fees but that's it.

If that's the case I could be saving lots of money as I have 2 phones on my plan and I currently buy my phones full price when I do upgrade.

Reality makes it rather not strange at all, as has been pointed out.

That seems to be the case (assuming that plant applies to smartphones and not just for basic phones).

Oh really?

Go up to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, or even western Mass and tell me (with a straight-face) that T-Mobile's coverage is equivalent to VZW/AT&T.

90gb?! What could you possibly be doing?

We have surpassed the point of counting data. 90GB may seem like a lot to you, but unlimited means unlimited. This should come as no surprise.

It's the stream of fresh flowing data. Drink.

Maybe you feel that way, but T-Mobile surely doesn't.

T-Mo has made it clear that they deprioritize/throttle after X amount of gbs. That's not unlimited.

Can you actually reply to my post? You said that T-Mobile's coverage rumors has been "debunked," but provide nothing to back that up.

Their coverage simply doesn't compare to Verizon. That is fact.

It might actually be a good plan, but it seems they had a hard time hitting 40 countries as marketing demanded:
- Can we claim a larger count if we replace UK with England, Wales, Scotland and N. Ireland?
- Fine, go for it
- We still got only 37. Can we add Canada?
- No, it'll cost too much. How about Virgin Islands instead? None of our customers has ever been there.
- Great, we still need two more though.
- Look, I just checked Wikipedia, it seems Liechtenstein, San Marino and Monaco are actually countries.
- Awesome, but boss said 40 countries, I ain't wasting time typing the last one. It's time for lunch.

I've been on the $45/3 GB prepaid plan for a while and it ends up being around $47-48 with taxes and fees. I get VM transcription on my iPhone 6S but cannot still do wi-fi calling or get HD Voice and I don't know why.

Okay. So it's not in rural areas. That may come in time but the stream of fresh flowing data is where the people are. That is priority, you know.

So you don't know? Are you just assuming VZW has abandoned their customer unfriendly behaviors on the grounds that is the right thing to do? You really shouldn't blindly defend companies with a history of bad behavior. With VZW and their ilk even "good" things should be scrutinized before they get praise.

What is all of that about now? How does this apply to anything I said? o_O

Just pointing out that you are defending VZW's behavior, when their past action should make us extremely critical of it. There is no reason to give them the benefit of the doubt, and you friend, just gave it to them. I appreciate that you may have made an off the cuff remark, probably without thinking about it, but as an active member of this community there is an expectation that you avoid the appearance of selling out.

No idea what you are taking about. Simple discussion of what a WiFi-only prepaid plan would be--and actually appears to be--somehow spun into who-knows-what with some sort of off-the-wall accusations to top it off.
