I pre-ordered my iPhone X on the verizon website and received 11/3 delivery. However, it didn't list an option to buy apple care.

Can I still purchase apple care from the Apple Store after I receive my phone???

Yes, you have something like 30 days to buy AC, though you may need to take the phone in for visual inspection (not sure about that).

If you live in Florida you will have to take it in. However if you live elsewhere, they will do a diagnosis over the phone and you will get your apple care plus

Unless you live in Florida you can now do it all online from the AppleCare website. They text or email you the online diagnostic link.

If you live in Florida you have to call in and get a rep in agreements admin who can work with a Florida resident.

Also, if you download the Apple Support App you can schedule a call back from Apple Support.

It can take hours if you call in on launch day.

You have to buy it directly from Apple at this point or wait until after you get your iPhone and take it to Verizon and add it. If you try to add it manually or through customer service right now they have to cancel your order and start again.

Verizon no longer sells AppleCare.

Thanks for everyone's comments! I'm going to go to the Apple Store on 11/3 to purchase apple care.
