Verizon Blocking iCloud Private Relay?

Hello,

Throughout the entirety of the Developer Beta releases of iOS 15, iCloud Private Relay worked on the Verizon network. As of the public release today, it is now blocked by Verizon.

Is anyone else experiencing this change? Any insight into what changed?

I'm on Verizon; I just enabled private relay and it seems to be working properly.

T-Mobile blocks it if you use YouTube In Safari.

It turns out there's a second switch under

Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options

that if not enabled in addition to iCloud Private Relay will block it ?. Not sure why the public release disabled this for me, but hopefully this post helps other folks figure it out.
