Received two emails this morning from Verizon:

Please note that as of 10/21/2011 wireless number ending in xxxx has used approximately of its monthly data allowance, and may now be accruing overage charges for bill cycle ending on the 19th.

Yes, it's used blank of it's monthly data allowance. One has used .006Gb of 4Gb and the other has used .03Gb of 4Gb. Neither are even up to 1% of allowance yet.

Anyone else get this? Is this typical of Verizon to have this poor of systems?

Maybe it's just a bug in the system. Im sure it happens.

Funny. It might just be a glitch in them rolling out systems to comply with the new federal requirements (although I thought they were supposed to text you).

    May be because of prorating.

Check your billing date and how many days left in the cycle for this month. In a partial month you don't get 4GB, but only amount prorated for the day remaining in the billing cycle.

Careful because anything more is charged as overage.

Sounds like a bug, I wouldn't pay much attention to it.

Good point. Pro-rating though should be about 3.3% of monthly per day so about 26% for 7 days, neither of these has used even 1% total in 7 days.
