ordered the 12.9 256 on the 8th. Have a shipping date of by the 28th. Is stock low or something. If there’s one of these thread already don’t get your pannies in a wad.

I ordered 3rd gen 12.9 space gray 512GB on 11/11 and the shipping date is 11/28. When I ordered, I checked the 256GB and its shipping date was 12/5. Hopefully my shipping date gets moved up. I chose to go with Verizon to take advantage of the 0% monthly installment plan which stays hidden from my credit reports LOL.
Also I already had a fully paid for existing iPad on my account. Even though it was fully paid for Verizon still wanted to charge a $30 upgrade fee. I expressed my dissatisfaction and was transferred to something called the Winback Dept. They agreed to remove the fee after I pointed out that I not only was buying the machine but also buying the Pencil and the Apple Care. So now I like Verizon again.

I called all 5 Verizon stores near me and not one of them had 2018 iPad's larger than 64GB in stock.
Still no movement on my order with Verizon. However, I just noticed that TigerDirect has the 12.9 3rd generation LTE all capacities ready to ship same day as ordered! That even beats Apple's own website which is now showing shipping dates to be in December. I'm tempted to cancel my Verizon order and just pay cash with TigerDirect.

I called Verizon today to ensure my order will be shipping tomorrow as promised since there has been no movement since I ordered on 11/11. They promised that it would sip tomorrow and sometime tomorrow I will receive a tracking number. We shall see.

I ordered 2 12's on 11/6 with a delivery date of 11/21. That date came and went and now the expected ship date has moved up every day with the turning of the midnight clock. The expected ship date is now 11/29. I can't blame Verizon if Apple isn't sending the product.
I lucked out and got a Verizon 12.9” iPP 3rd gen for $200 off through Best Buy, estimated pickup of 12/11. I see in the payments area a $40 activation fee and a $20 additional tablet line (one time) fee. I haven’t bought a tablet with them since 2015. Is there any way to get either of these fees waived?
11/29 came and went with no news on my order. Verizon now says expected ship date is 11/30.
Ordered a silver 12.9 one tb on 11/16. Ship date was 11/28. Yesterday it was 11/30. Today it is 12/28!!!!! Any suggestions?
I gave up on Verizon. Ordered on 11/11 with ship date 11/28. On 11/28 nothing happened and ship date moved to 11/29. On 11/29 same thing happened. On 11/30 same thing happened again. After calling numerous times and speaking with numerous reps who all kept promising the next day it will ship, I finally spoke to a rep who was honest. She said they were completely out of stock and the earliest ship date is now 12/05 and that she said was not a guarantee. I then checked my online account and sure enough the ship date was now 12/05. I canceled the order and ordered from Amazon which shipped the same day I ordered. I didn't order from Apple because their ship date was worse than Verizon's and the nearest Apple store is to far away.

11/30 came and went as expected, but they did ship on 12/1. They are coming from different places. One from Tennessee and the other from Pennsylvania, but they are expected to arrive on 12/4. It was a long road and a tangle of confusing information from vVerizon, but they are on the way. Good luck.
I'm starting to wonder why Verizon didn't ship mine. I'm starting to believe they didn't because when I ordered I insisted that they remove the $30 upgrade fee. They removed it but never shipped the order.
Is anyone still having issues with Verizon? It's amazing that every store seems to have these in stock, but Verizon is quoting months for delivery. I ordered a 12.9 SG 256 LTE on the 21st, w/ the site saying 12/21 ship, and I've now been pushed out until January 25th. I'm sure they'll ship before then, but Verizon is the absolute worst.
Yes, I still haven’t gotten mine. Cancelled original 11/10 order in late November, because they said it it wouldn’t ship until January 17. Put in and order with Verizon through Best Buy, same deal. But I’m waiting until Monday to cancel. I ordered 12.9 SG 1TB
With all the complaints of bent iPads seemingly related to cellular models, I bet apple is doing some behind the scenes quality improvements.
Apple might not publically admit to the issue, but I can almost guarantee they aren’t ignoring the complaints.
Well then I would hope for those of us that have one now if there are any problems down the road, Apple will cover bending under AppleCare.
