So, I bought a broken iPhone 4, Verizon model. The guy said he took it apart to replace the screen (looks like he wasn't lying) and probably put it back together the wrong way.

It wouldn't do anything when I got it.

I took it apart, replaced the Home Button's Flex Cable, but everything else looks like it's fine.

I put it all back together, and now I can push the power button and the backlight comes on. No display. It will connect to iTunes if I plug it in, but I can't access it since there's a passcode on it.

The home button appears to not be responsive since when I push it, the backlight doesn't turn on..

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

EDIT: Weird thing.. The screen's backlight will stay on even if I unplug the battery.. ? What is going on?

Is there any other programs out there that can access an iPhone/iPod other than iTunes?
