Verizon iPhone 4 Question - Not familiar with CDMA

Ok, so I assume the iPhone 4 on VZ can only be used on VZ and no other place? or can it be used on Sprint or some other carriers that work with VZ?

I am on AT&T and have always been with an iPhone so I am not familiar with the chipsets in any other phone except the iPhone GSM.

Verizon iPhone 4 only Verizon. Period.

Due to carrier-imposed, software-based restrictions (on both Verizon and Sprint's ends) Verizon is the only CDMA carrier in the US that can activate Verizon iPhones, and only Sprint can activate Sprint iPhones.
