Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

ebay rocks

i ordered an iphone case and screen covers. already received case on friday. and covers today.

i've ordered all my previous iphone stuff from ebay. i highly doubt there's be much wrong. manufacturers already knew dimensions prior. figure at worst would be snug etc depending on sort of case you got.

I would also guess that 64gb white is the least ordered. Once they get around to opening the shipment of ours maybe they will finally give us some excitment too. I guess as long as it ships by wed all will be good.

This has got to be the case since people who've ordered long after I did have already gotten shipping notices (I got my order in as soon as the page went live and got my confirm at 12:04am PST).
 
Got bumped to 10/05?

So I made my confirmation email at 3:12 on the 14th, and the status pages has always been saying 09/25 shipment date.

But it just got updated to 10/05. :( What happened? Is there something wrong with my order? In fact, when I got the confirmation SMS, I replied "TES" instead of "YES" the first time. Then I immediately send it again. But... that shouldnt be a big deal, should it?

I hope thisis the case as well because I ordered 2 64gb iPhones (one white and one black) and I haven't gotten any notice

Actually looks like I'm probably wrong. A quick search of this thread revealed several people who's orders are in D771101 that are also stuck in "processing" with a 9/21 date. Now I'm wondering if they're processing orders in shipping time priority order. If D771101 is close to me in Jersey they can ship very fast while orders that are further away must be given an extra day's transit time.

LOL I'm spending entirely too much time thinking about this.

This could also be. I live right down the road from the west chester location that all my past orders shipped from. As I said b4. When I bought the 4 for Verizon I got it 1 day early as I had another packaged from fedex that day.

I'm gonna say that our 64GB W is the main cause.

Both sound like solid theories. I'm currently in France on business so I checked my home voicemail thinking perhaps if they had an issue with my credit card they'd have left a message but nothing. Same CC i used to preorder the 4S last year and they didn't bat an eye so I doubt that'll be an issue this time.

I'll be keeping an eye on it throughout the day :)

Well, I haven't got any shipping notification also. But I wouldn't get too stressed about it though. As long as expected date is 9/21..
 
My Verizon shipping email only lists one number that I ported over. Both phones should ship together right? Also I don't see any weight listed on FedEx tracking
 
I just checked my bank account and they've taken the payment for $209.99 off and the money is back in... I hope there's nothing wrong. :(

I am also W779001 (Los Angeles) -- my card was charged earlier at around 7PM and my status updated to "Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time." but I did not receive any shipping notification as of yet.

If you are curious, I got my confirmation email for my pre-order on Sept 14th at 12:02AM.

Finally!!! my card has a pending charge. just check both of the sites to where you put your pre-order number in and one says that the order is in processing without the shipping date and the other that says it'll ship by the 21st. Also checked under documents and receipts under my verizon. it also had a Fed-Ex 2-day shipping on the receipt without a charge. i really hope that the phone comes in on the 21st, i'd be even more happy if it comes in early.

I'm wondering now that if i do activate the phone under my line. will the Tec Asurion Isurance/Warranty take over that phone or will my old phone still be covered as per both phones? I just looked under the confirmation e-mail that Tec-Asurion is on there...

I am also W779001. My card was charged Monday around 2pm. No tracking number yet. I got my confirmation email at 12:01am.
 
My card got charged last night around 7:30pm EST. I received an email from Verizon around 1am EST with my shipping confirmation, and a tracking number for fedex. Mine is currently in Memphis, TN and will be delivered by 3:00pm on Friday.

I'm in NC and I ordered a Black/Slate 16gb phone. If that helps narrow the search down at all
 
My tracking number was emailed to me just after midnight via FedEx & coming from Memphis. ETA is Friday.

FYI, I'm in MO & ordered a 16GB black iPhone at 5 am on th 14th.
