I have been with Verizon for a few months after being with AT&T for 8 years and I have a question.

When I am on a phone call and someone beeps through. It gives me the options to end call and answer or hold call and answer. Whenever I end call and answer it ends both calls, so i need to call the person back. Whenever I place the person on hold it says "multiple calls", when I was on AT&T it was state which person is on hold and which call is active.

I have an iPhone 5, is there a setting I am missing that it list which person is on hold, also what could be causing both lines to disconnect, when you end call and answer? Is that normal for Verizon iPhones?

It's a limitation of CDMA technology that Verizon uses for its network. It cannot handle conference calling like the GSM networks (AT&T) does.
