Hello, my wife has a verizon iPhone 5 and I have the iPhone 6 plus, are these both unlocked by nature for international travel?
 
Yes, they both are. You will just have to pop out the Verizon SIM and get a prepaid local SIM card to put in both phones if/when you travel internationally.
