Verizon iPhone 6 vs T-Mobile iPhone 6... same phone?

Are the Verizon & T-mo versions of the iPhone 6 essentially one in the same? Basically being both unlocked if paid for in full? Is there any difference?

Same phone. One though offers a great carrier option (Verizon) while the other (T-Mobile) is, well you know..........CRAP.

Just get the T Mobile version unlocked thru the carrier and you have the same device.
