They had something on their site that due to weather Memphis Hub based orders may be delayed (on UPS). It happens.
What are you talking about? Verizon says that NO iPhones will ship before the 10th!

Enter your information and try tracking with FedEx and UPS by reference number. Others have done that successfully.
Finally, a shipping email and tracking number from ups. My phone has an origin scan of West Chester, PA. All if right with the world!

I've gotta drive to the office to pick mine up (32GB), drop my sister's (16GB) off on my way back, and bring my wife's (32GB) home with me. I think I'll bring my macbook and activate it right there on the spot, and try out a free nav app or two on the way home, just for fun.
