Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

Well...it's 6am here so I guess I'll be getting it last...well maybe except those in Hawaii lol

Arrived in Romulus (Detroit Metro Airport) fedex site on Saturday. Still there this morning and delivery date and time of 2/7 by 3pm.
I had my precious shipped to my office due to the siggy needed.
No work will be done today.....

But vzw had to go by some kind of order when packing the boxes I highly doubt they just picked random orders because it was easier for ups/fedex and where they needed to go...

Right, so I never said they were "random", but just because you are number #1300, does not mean that was actual number you were in line that ordered. I was #2926615 at 3:05 AM. People after me had much lower numbers and there is NO way Verizon sold 3 million units in a few minutes.

The number would not at all be related to how UPS/Fedex delivers them. It might have to do with the order Verizon got them out for shipping. But once they were with UPS, it doesn't matter. It depends on when they are scheduled to get to your area.
 
Mine just left the regional center (for the SF Bay area), and is headed to my local Fedex office. I've tracked lots of packages, and I've not seen them moving stuff this late. I wonder if they're a bit overwhelmed.

Still hopeful for today.
 
congrats to all you lucky guys getting your iphones today! I pre-ordered from apple cause VZ site wasn't working for me and it looks like i'll be waiting till tomorrow. it just arrived in louisville KY a far ways from NY:(
 
I would not be surprised if someone here missed the delivery because he got so excited seeing the Fed Ex/UPS truck, that he fainted. In fact, I expect it. lol
 
Business customers

Any other Verizon business customers that ordered on Thursday but orders are still showing as pending? This was the case with mine. Order was placed at 4:11am EST 2/3/11.
 
Looking forward to seeing actual photos of the iPhones today to confirm. Mines been stuck 5 miles away at fed ex awaiting delivery. Sounds like UPS is the only one delivering early so far. May try to pick up later tonight if it doesn't make it here by 3.

zuk - Mine is the same situation. I called UPS - 1800PICKUPS and they system is more up to date. They told me it was out for delivery. So it is taking the webpage a while to sync with their system.

GIVE THEM A CALL!!!
 
So who else got 4 hours of sleep and spent those measly 4 hours tossing and turning??!!?!! :eek:

Out for Delivery!!! Though I know I won't have it in my hands at 3pm like the tracking says. UPS only stops by this area closer to 7pm :(

aaahhhhahahahahaha.... LMAO. I'm so glad to be in such good company - so many of the live people around me just DON'T GET IT! :rolleyes:
