OUT FOR DELIVERRYYYYY! Finalllyyyyy.
Too bad it's an hour away, they have tons more deliveries to make, and I work 11-2 (it's 9) D:
but my mom's still home sick with the flu, so she'll be more than happy to sign for it. her baby is in there too.
I don't mean to sound sexist, but I think this is the only (lengthy) thread I've ever seen with a decent number of females.
Is that the new iOS 4.2 software? I think I read there was speculation that it would be pre-loaded on the Verizon phone. Maybe some of the early pre-ordered phones where made before the update and stored, ready for early shipment.
My phone is at the local distribution center in town and is due to be delivered to my office. Office delivery of FedEx is usually at about 11:30AM MST. So, Of course, I'll open the box, drool over my new iPhone, read through the getting started 3 or 4 times and maybe try to get some work done
but I won;t get to play with it until I get home At least it will be HERE finally!!!!

Same with mine. Called FedEx to see if I could just go pick it up from the location but they told me that it in fact was already out on the truck and the system didn't reflect that yet.
Give them a call! Say you want to put it on hold and you can then talk to a representative and see if you can simply intercept it!

no, mine hasn't updated... but I'm not getting hung up on that. It missed a Saturday update (just showed up this morning); I'm wagering their systems are pretty overwhelmed with the volume and it's not really so much "real-time" updates right now... hang in there!

I mean, obviously not the kind you'd want to use permanently, and I know it's got the thing on the bottom you'd have to clip off or move out of the way.. but I ordered cases/protectors online and they won't be here til wednesday or thursday, and I didn't want to go buy some from Walmart if I didn't have to. I just don't want fingerprints or anything on my screen.

Does the fact that the package by UPS is next day air mean that we are likely to get it earlier if say UPS usually passes by your house at 7pm?

My ViPhone has been delivered...even though my tracking number still says it is at the local FedEx Facility and hasn't even gone out for delivery

I'm suchhhh a geek too. lol I am waiting for my phone all day until I have to go to work too, which isn't until 5. Thank god! I was kind of hoping to have the day off so I could play with it all night but whatever. It's on the truck and I am praying that UPS delivers to me early for once!
