Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

OK so i am a little bit behind the times here....but...

I have been waiting for my shipping confirmation email from verizon since my order status page went down Friday night...

Finally, I call verizon again and for the first time got a rep that was awesome and knew what she was talking about.

She pulled up my order confirmed that it was shipped today, gave me my tracking number and puled up the status on fed ex's website for me (I didn't have the heart to tell her I already had the fed ex page open on my computer and was typing in the tracking number as she was)....but I'll get me phone tomorrow....

As i'm talking to her....my "phone shipped" email from verizon came through....lol

Yeah it appears everyone is prob trying to use the same app. At least all of us lucky enough to have pre-ordered and received the iphone. I am waiting ever so patiently to hear that Fed ex truck roll down my street. Ur lucky u got urs so soon. Hang in there the server or the app will respond at some point soon.

I think we may be the last two waiting for deliveries today!:rolleyes:
 
In anticipation of my iPhone, I sent all of my Blackberry contacts to my Address Book on my Mac. So, all of you Mac users: double check to see if you have any of your contacts there... you won't have to deal with the VZ app.

Thanks! How are you able to be so patient? The waiting was killing me. Soon enough you will get your beauty.. What time is it suppose to be delivered
 
I'm sure this has been asked already but I've been away all day and don't want to sift through all the pages-I purchased my iPhone using my mother's upgrade, so I'll have to switch our numbers. Do I call Verizon to do that or do I activate the phone first with iTunes and then call them?

Still waiting for the UPS man to get here, phone was supposed to be delivered by 3. Ahh, the excitement.

Hah i really dont know. Ive been up since 10. . window open to listen for the truck. . it was supposed to be delivered by 3 today. . . Disappointed it hasnt shown up yet, but soon enough im sure it will. can not waittt to activate it.

Well I know with our Ipad and the kids Ipods you just go in the app store like you are going to buy it again, but it downloads it for free because you've already paid for it
 
WTF!! The Fedex truck drove by my street like 3 hours ago? Come back bro!! Its 1:15 here in AZ!
 
The reason you may have trouble transferring contacts is because you are using wifi. I had the same issue and shut off my wifi. Fixed.

I would have been the same way but I had school this morning, got out at 12 & at 1P the FedEx truck was here.. I'm sure they are running a little behind schedule.
 
Okay, if I see a FedEx truck, I'm not taking any chances. I'm going to pull a Tiananmen Square and stand in front of the truck. Ain't movin til you iphone me!

Wow thanks that leaves hope for me! I have been waiting as well, placed my order before 3am. Ill be calling them after I get out of work.
 
By the way, after you sign off your package, I strongly urge all of you to wash your hands. Just imagine how many people jumped straight off the toilet without washing their hands as they were caught off guard by the doorbell...
 
At local FedEx destination facility in Honolulu as of 9:16 AM (local time). Still on schedule for delivery by 5 PM today. Come on, baby! lol
