Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

anybody else having trouble checking their order status after Verizon stopped accepting pre orders?
 
I'm glad there are a lot of people here as excited as I am.
I'm only one of 3 people I personally know getting one.
 
Just got a "Fail to Respond" error. May be an indication they are updating my status and tracking info.

Here's hopin.
 
Has anyone that ordered through APPLE seen a change in their order status? I ordered mine at 1:14am PST and received a confirmation of my order at 1:20am PST been checking all day on the APPLE site and hasn't changed yet just says "Prepared for shipment" GRRRRR Im glad I found this support group, and it's nice to know i'm not alone with this V iphone business taking over my life! lol
 
dang it. i've been trying to order since 7am and I have never been able to get past the stinkin' error page.

And now they shut it down. I talked to one of the verizon sales guys and he said they had to shut it down due to server overload and the fact that almost all of the quantity was sold out. They were planning on pre-sales going until the official launch date but it didn't work out.
 
Has anybody placed an order from a business account?

That is how I placed mine and the only sort of order number or reference number I have is a single order number number that goes like: MB48437593

If i place that in the tracking it comes up with nothing at all.

If i log in to the business account I can check order stats but all that shows is the original order information and on that page shows an order status of "PRE"

Anyone else order from a business account?

FYI: Thats not the actual order number

It probably won't change til early next week. The general info says that it's supposed to be received on either the 9th or 10th. So you won't see a change on the Apple site til it actually ships.

Most likely Verizon's system doesn't have a "preparing" option, and they needed to start getting orders boxed and ready to go for shipment. So it changed to shipped as that's the option.

If you go through the order status link on the normal verizon website, it takes you to their normal order status page, not the order status page weve been using
 
Has anybody called the verizon automated system. It says my order is shipped and I should receive it within 2 business days. When you ask for the tracking # it says there is none for this order. I had my order in pretty early was #398.

A friend who ordered at essentially the same time as me, also in NY, has an ACE number of 7000-something and is still pending with an expected ship date of 2/10.

I'm in Queens, ordered around 2:50, Ace Order Location: D771001, Ace Order No. 16xx, CC charge is pending. No shipping info. I'm guessing/hoping it'll just show up tomorrow. It's not surprising that the vendor's system might not have the tracking number before the package shows up. Time will tell!
 
Verizons servers have crashed..... Just talked to a buddy who works for Verizon out of Wilmington, NC and he said the servers crashed about 15 minutes ago.
 
Just spoke with a verizon rep she state the phone was not shipped until you got a fedex tracking number.
 
Looks like the order status page has changed i'm getting the error message also everyone must be trying to check their order status. Sure would be nice to get the iphone tommorow.
