Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

weird checked earlier said it was shipped . now of course the site is down .. go figure and now i call vzw and the lady says it will be sent out the 10th.. either she's lying or her data doesn't match.......also kinda strange at the end of my confirmation email i see this :

Same here. My ACE number is 12228, and ACE location is W779001. In the Los Angeles area.

Didn't even notice that! I thought it was weird when there were no shipping options at checkout
 
I just called in to Verizon, as my order is still showing processing, and I was worried with them being sold out.

The rep I talked to said that while my order hadn't shipped, it's being processed to ship and that I will most definitely receive my iPhone.

As for the shipping date, they have no idea. He said they can only go by the date listed as the expected date - which can change.

So, yeah. To the guys that are sitting and panicking that they're sold out and your order hasn't shipped, if you got an order in, you should be covered.

Has anyone had any luck with fedex tracking using ACE location_ordernum??

Called and spoke to a rep who said that all orders that have been processed will be received ON or BY February 10th at the absolute latest. She said that just because the status is "Shipped" doesn't mean it was shipped out yet, just means it was packaged and readied for shipment.
 
I fear for the job of the guy who said "I don't think we need to have a separate status message to indicate "Ready to ship" and "Shipped". Shouldn't be an issue. :D

Just a piece of advice guys....Stop calling the reps. None of them know anything that is going on, even if you listen to the message before it connects you with them it says they haven't been given any other information other than what they see on your account screen. I spoke with a nice rep earlier about my credit card payment and additionally asked her about the shipping date and she said "I'll be honest...I have no clue. They don't tell us anything along those lines."
 
If the Verizon Distribution Center is in Memphis the packages can get there pretty late and still be delivered tomorrow since Memphis is the hub for Fedex. The packages don't need to be there til around 12-1 in the morning.
 
Some one please help.

-It says its been shipped, but I dont have tracking info, and I wanna know where my iPhone is! Please help, someone!
 
I give up. *sigh* I don't see me getting mine before the 10th or 11th. The order status on the phone says "pending shipment" and will be shipping Feb 10, 2011. I think I am going to cuddle with my iPod Touch and go cry in a corner somewhere.
