clearly, the reserved amount wasn't enough...why does anyone find this hard to believe that they are out now until the 9/10th??? You're talking 93 million subscribers, who you just told "hey guys, over here, you too can finally put down your inferior weapons, and pack a real phone like the cool kids do"...seriously guys, this is the power of Marketing 101...the iPhone is not as much a great phone as it is a fashion statement, a lifestyle, and an ethos...when you've hit that level of marketing when the world markets the product for you, you've reached the pinnacle that every marketing manager drools about reaching once in his lifetime...it's over Johnny...over...back up the truck, don't fight the man, just buy AAPL stock and profit from him....
It really is as simple as that...Apple has reached a level of cool-ness and "must have" fashion beyond anything else we've seen in the last 50 years, maybe ever.
