Wait you mean there's going to be an iPhone on Verizon?

oh, I thought you knew. I just thought it was funny that they're trying to keep it hush hush and there have been tons of leaks and the tweet is one of them. :D

From TechCrunch:
And while it’s totally possible that some Verizon employee owns an AT&T phone, I’m just going to point out that this tweeting thing is interesting, you know, considering …
I'm kinda leaning this way. It's probably the Verizon iPhone since they pulled it but there's no reason that it couldn't be an at&t iPhone.

Could be from the iPad. That posts twitter for iPhone as well.

It's just an employee with an iPad/iPhone.

There's very likely only a handful of people whom have the Verizon iPhone, all very high up. I certainly wouldn't count on them giving them to employees like this.

If you look at there history of posts, their iPad posts specify so - 'From iPad' this specifically says 'iPhone.'

my daughters touch says sent from her iPhone all the time as well.. best thing is about 12 hours at least some rumors will stop. replaced by others of course. I'm just the wait and see what happens type.

You'll be proven wrong tomorrow :)

All the Verizon fanboys (gluttons for punishment who like a company telling them what they can or cannot do with their purchased equipment) will have to make up lots of excuses if and when iPhones try to push all that data thru Verizon's antiquated CDMA garbage network.

Dude, chill, it was just a comment, no need to bash on future competition.

btw, I'm not a verizon fanboy ;)

You mean the garbage network that actually has signal when you need it? The garbage network that actually has 5 times the 3g coverage as AT&T?

I love it when my iPhone friends ask to use my phone so they can make a call. :D

no the garbage network that is 60% slower on 3g data then ATT

no the garbage network that is 60% slower on 3g data then ATT

In my testing when there is 3G signal it isn't any different than any of the other two big networks. They are all the SAME speed (I'll hand it to ATT and t-mobile, that you can talk and surf).

You can talk and surf when you have 3g. When you're outside of those areas, its one or the other.

Same can be said for apple.....

yeah, because AT&T sells everyone unlocked iPhones. Oh, they don't? But at least they unlock it after you contract is up. What? They don't do that either?

You cannot talk and surf on CDMA

Yes you can, we just don't know if Apple or Verizon implemented the tech to do it.

You mean the network that i'm getting .45Mbps on right now?

Stop trolling. Both the carriers suck in their own ways. As much as you can tell me Verizon sucks, I have at least as many bad things if not more to say about AT&T. It's a never ending troll fest so just grow up and drop it.

It depends on location just like everything else that has to do with comparing cell companies. In my side by side tests Verizon is dog slow (maybe slightly faster than EDGE which is awful compared to at&t's 3G).

You ever wonder if Verizon is "milking" it? This could be an announcement about their LTE service, or an announcement about Tablets or another Android phone. But if I was Verizon, I would do stuff like this, post from an iPod or whatever then mysteriously pull it, hype it up. It could be nothing, but everyone in the tech industry will be glued to this!
