Wait you mean there's going to be an iPhone on Verizon?
I'm kinda leaning this way. It's probably the Verizon iPhone since they pulled it but there's no reason that it couldn't be an at&t iPhone. And while it’s totally possible that some Verizon employee owns an AT&T phone, I’m just going to point out that this tweeting thing is interesting, you know, considering …
It's just an employee with an iPad/iPhone.
There's very likely only a handful of people whom have the Verizon iPhone, all very high up. I certainly wouldn't count on them giving them to employees like this.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)
Could be from the iPad. That posts twitter for iPhone as well.

All the Verizon fanboys (gluttons for punishment who like a company telling them what they can or cannot do with their purchased equipment) will have to make up lots of excuses if and when iPhones try to push all that data thru Verizon's antiquated CDMA garbage network.

You mean the garbage network that actually has signal when you need it? The garbage network that actually has 5 times the 3g coverage as AT&T?
I love it when my iPhone friends ask to use my phone so they can make a call.![]()
no the garbage network that is 60% slower on 3g data then ATT
In my testing when there is 3G signal it isn't any different than any of the other two big networks. They are all the SAME speed (I'll hand it to ATT and t-mobile, that you can talk and surf).

You can talk and surf when you have 3g. When you're outside of those areas, its one or the other.

It depends on location just like everything else that has to do with comparing cell companies. In my side by side tests Verizon is dog slow (maybe slightly faster than EDGE which is awful compared to at&t's 3G).In my testing when there is 3G signal it isn't any different than any of the other two big networks. iPod touch devices disguise themselves as iPhones for Twitter, Facebook, etc etc.
