Intermittent problem. My Verizon iPhone X sometimes does not ring or display phone calls and they go straight to voicemail. The attempted calls do not show up in the Recents call log.

This happened even after updating to 11.1.2.
Do Not Disturb is off.
Calls on Other Devices is off.
I am using the Hiya call blocking app, but Hiya blocked calls show up in the Recents log.
It seems to happen when on my home wifi, but some calls come through when on wifi.I have 3 bar cell service at home. Wi-Fi Calling is turned on.
Purchased the phone from Verizon, came with a new sim. no problems with making outgoing calls.
Text messages on Messages come through without any problem.

Called Apple Care and they checked my settings. We thought the problem was solved but then it came back later.

Any suggestions?

Unrelated I guess but AT&T has been having the same issues on a 6s on 10.3.3 and an 8 on iOS 11.1.1...kind of strange that it's happening on Verizon too.

You may get this fixed by calling Verizon. Provider network settings sometimes get messed up for individual users.
Took the phone to my local Verizon corporate store. They said they are having network problems in the Northeast. They changed my cellular data options to data only rather than voice & data. Let’s see if that solves the problem.
