The Verizon one-time upgrade showed up on my Apple order status page, along with the regular rate plan details that were shown during the order process. It was never shown while I was preordering.

Did this happen to anyone else?

how do you get them to credit the upgrade fee back?

  1. Call/chat before signing a contract.
  2. Explain why you're such a valuable/long-time customer.
  3. Leverage the competition and tell them about your coworkers bragging on AT&T waiving upgrade fees.
  4. Haphazardly suggest that even if they can't waive the fee, you'd settle for a future bill credit or something.

Thanks, sounds like a win win.
