I was in a Verizon store yesterday in southwest Florida and heard a rep say they’ve had 1000’s of customers come into the store within the past week complaining about not being able to hear the other person speaking. Is this a Verizon issue or was the 5G pushed too fast on apples side? Is this all carriers or just the location?

I had a similar issue where my voice connection would randomly go silent (call wouldn't drop) in the middle of calls. Unclear who "owns" the issue, but I got the phone replaced just to be safe.

This has been an ongoing thing since March in my area. Everyone of my friends and family’s iPhone 12 can barely hear every other word on a call. Verizon is blaming Apple and Apple is saying it’s Verizon’s service issue. I’m in fort Myers Florida. Anyone else experiencing this? I literally can’t make a call on my phone at this point. I’ve heard of people replacing their phones and it still doesn’t fix the problem. So it can’t be the phone maybe it’s the 5G tower? Everyone with a 5G android phone doesn’t have an issue though it’s only iPhones. Weird

I had this problem with my iPhone 12 Pro and I’m located in the North East. My model arrived in Jan 2021 and a colleague of mine in the North East is experiencing the same issues you described also.

I got my phone replaced with a new one, it seems to have helped.
