You need to choose the carrier that offers what you need.
For me its a coin flip. Coverage where I live is equal, but I travel to New Hampshire, specifically the white mountains area and AT&T does not have 3G service there but verizon does.

Is this a show stopper for me, no but its one the small point to differentiate between the two carriers.

I've yet to call customer support with verizon wireless so I cannot judge that, but AT&T's customer support when I called them didn't suck. I wouldn't expec them (or verizon's) to be good but as I said they weren't bad.

Depending on a lot of factors, I'll either stick with vzw or go back to att. I'm not sure which but at the moment. At the moment, I'm holding off on the iPhone 4 just because we're getting close to the iPhone 5. I think I need an iPad more then a phone replacement and money doesn't grow on trees.

Neither network is perfect.

I have never had an issue with AT&T here in LA or when I lived back in Chicago.
I'm sure there are areas where one network has spotty reception and the other is stellar. Or outlying rural areas. Which, for me, I never plan on living in or frequenting.

I am waiting for the LTE version, before I switch over. So, this might occur next year or sooner.

I'm all set with AT&T. I get good coverage in my area, and I like the ability to do voice and data at the same time. You'd be surprised how often I use that feature. I don't see why anyone would switch unless the iPhone supported LTE or they have horrible coverage.

I didn't like AirTouch before they were Verizon:eek:.

Been with LA Cellular, PacBell, Cingular, AT&T for 15yrs, not changing now;)

I'll be sticking with AT&T great service for me great corporate discount and just am all around satisfied with them. I have never had to call or go into the store for anything other than to get my iPhone 4. I am grandfathered into the unlimited data as well so that would be another reason. :D

I'll be switching on February 10.

I don't get good service in my area with AT&T and have been waiting patiently for Verizon to get the iPhone.

I don't really surf the Internet and talk, so that's not a big deal to me.
Really? What if you are on hold for a half hour or need information from the internet from some random location while you are talking on the phone? It REALLY is a practical feature, even though many don't seem to think so.
