I ordered my yesterday, 9/12 iPhone 6 Gold 64gb around 2:55 am, received confirmation at 3:01 am. Status read:
We received your order and it is in process
Expected Delivery Date: 09/19/14.
Everything went through without a hitch.
Then received an email from VZW at 7:31 pm saying "Your order is currently on hold. We were unable to take payment with the information provided." I called customer service and asked them what the issue was, and they said it was declined. I asked them to re-run my card again, and they said it was declined a second time.
I then gave a new card which FINALLY went through.
Now, my Status reads:
We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet.
Expected Delivery Date: Not available at this time.
BUT... here's the kicker... I checked my original credit card and there are TWO pending charges from Verizon for 353.09, the card Verizon said was declined. So now, I have 2 cards with 3 different pending charges.
I'm told, however, that my place in my order wouldn't change as well and I should still expect a delivery date of 9/19/14.
Anyone else go through this issue? Not with the multiple charging, but having to re-call to verify payment information and been told that your place in line of order would not change. I've read others did and their experience, but would also love to read more about others who may have been in the same boat for confirmation/reassurance.
