You sure about that?

I ordered online at midnight (3 am on the East Coast) and they claim it'll ship tomorrow. iPad 32 GB, Black, LTE.

Monday?

That's what the guy told me. I am in Connecticut. But I will leave a note on the garage door, in case FedEX delivers it tomorrow( Saturday)

Is there any way to see if they are in stock without going all the way through the order process? I don't want to order online if I'm going to get through it and it's the same 2-3 weeks as the Apple order I already have.

In stock

They are in stock. I cancelled my apple order because it was going to take until April 9th. Jump onto Verizon order now, get it in 2 days. The retail stores usually don't have much stock, but get there early and you might luck out.

That's my plan actually. Just thinking ahead if I can't score one at the store.

What do you think lines are like at the VZW stores?

I don't think it will be crowd, because everyone go line up outside an apple store. The worst case, i think it will be less than 10 people will wait outside Verizon store.

What is their return policy like if I snagged one at the store and eyed to return the online one?

As long as the iPad is seal, theres no reason they will charge you any fee. Just return it as soon as you can, usually within 14 days.

----------

Sorry for the information above. They do charge restocking fee for any return and exchange.

"You may return or exchange wireless devices and accessories purchased from Verizon Wireless within 14 days of purchase. A restocking fee of $35 ($70 for netbooks and tablets) applies to any return or exchange of a wireless device (excluding Hawaii)."

1.5 hours to go and no line at my nearest vzw store..

Good to hear that.

I will go 15 minute before it open, it only take me 5 minute walk.
