Has anyone noticed lately if Verizon seems like it’s getting worse? Seems to be the case for me.

I’m using an iPhone 7 Plus, does anyone know if it can support those new improvements or would I need to upgrade to a 8 plus?
I don’t think iPhone 8, 8+ or X support it. 2018 iPhones look like they will support it though:

In the past month or so, I've noticed I've been falling back to 3G much more often than usual on Verizon while using my iPhone X. I had a Note 8 with 4x4 MIMO for awhile and the reception was noticeably better so I'd expect the same if Apple supports it on the next iPhones.

While Apple is a leader in many high profile innovations like Face ID, for some reason they usually fall behind in more mundane connectivity standards. I'm sure most Android flagships will have 5G a year before Apple finally adopts it on an iPhone.
