I am sorry if this has been answered but I couldnt find the answer.
I currently have a iphone4s and my contract ends oct 11. I have unlimited data with verizon. If I upgrade to the new iphone will i have to go to shared with the wife? She would be upgrading also.

And if the answer is yes is it even worth it to lose the unlimited data?

It's answered in countless prior threads and across the internet. If you get a subsidized upgrade with Verizon you lose grandfathered unlimited data. If you want to keep unlimited data then you need to pay full price.

Worth is always subjective no matter what the topic. It's your call to make. I didn't find unlimited to be worth keeping. As with any subjective matter, YMMV.
