Well, it's live. Just switched over our three lines a few minutes ago.

Note this one caveat:
If you decide to switch plans to an ineligible plan, they won't unenroll you. They'll just bill you $9.99/line until you notice it and shut it off. No idea if they will warn you about it if you try to do so.
I think there's another caveat to consider:

What you get with Verizon are individual Apple Music subscriptions, not a Family subscription (obviously). But what's not so obvious is that if you're currently on a Family Apple Music subscription, changing to Verizon's deal on multiple lines would mean losing "Sharing of iTunes Purchases" since that's not available on an individual Apple Music plan. Is my understanding correct?

See comparison chart at the bottom:

Is that sharing of iTunes music purchases or all?

I would think music only (not apps, video, etc.) since this is Apple Music. But now that I think of it, Apple's comparison chart of Apple Music plans is odd ... with Apple Music you have access to all music Apple has available, so what would it matter if your spouse bought an album which you can simply gain access to via your own Apple Music plan? i.e. no need to "share" it if I can access it via my own AM plan.

Did this offer come to fruition for anyone? I haven’t seen anything from Verizon.
Yes, on the previous page there are a few who have taken advantage of it, and the Update at the end of the article has a link which takes you to a Verizon page describing this offer in detail.

For me its not worth it ... my wife, son, and I are on Verizon's "New Unlimited" plan, so to get this offer for all three of us it would cost me an extra $20/month, but I can get a Family Apple Music plan for $15/month so I see no benefit here.

It's incorrect. "Sharing of iTunes Purchases" (as well as App Store, Apple Books, etc) is done through Apple's Family Sharing feature. While Apple Music's Family Plan requires one to have Family Sharing set up to share Apple Music, it's a feature separate from Apple Music that's available even without an Apple Music subscription.

All.

People on Family Sharing can have access to your purchased music, movies, TV shows, books, apps, as well as iCloud Storage and Apple Music Family Plan (should it be subscribed to). You can customize what they have access to (some). See below for more details:

See my responses above, but to respond to why it matters regarding music: Not all music is available for streaming via Apple Music. I also own some albums/songs that are available in the cloud, but not available on Apple Music or the store anymore.
