Says the guy who already owns an iPhone 4. Easier to make such bold statements when you currently own one.
Is it? I've seen my share of bold in my day. Was mine that radical?
If I were a Verizon customer (I used to be, by the way), due for an upgrade, would the unlimited data plan be enough of an incentive to sign today, or would I prefer potential GSM/CDMA interoperability? If I travel a lot, I'd wait and see. Do I want the chance for 4G capability before my contract expires? What other improvements can Apple make to such an amazing phone? I'm not sure, but will they be worth paying full price on upgrade if I lock into a 2-year contract today?
The timing on the release of the Verizon iPhone is peculiar and I just think there are scores of excited Verizon customers who just haven't given Apple's annual upgrade to the phone any thought. I'm telling all my friends to hold on a little longer. Those already using a smart phone really are the least impacted by the release - so for you guys at least ... unless you have money to burn, why NOT just wait a few more months?
