I don't know...but no matter if I am paying $1100 for a phone...If I can get VZW to wave an upgrade fee for $40 ...it is worth a shot. Personally I think the upgrade is BS anyway.
Oh I agree, it’s a total BS fee and only seems to keep rising year after year with zero justification.

My argument is that the ask to waive it because “I can’t afford it” is nullified by the fact someone is at the same time buying a $1,000 device and therefore can in fact afford to pay the fee.

i paid out right for 2 17 PM and I am still going to call and try to get the activation fees waived. I can afford to buy the phones and still want to get this type of bogus fee waived.....whether i can afford it or not if not relevant to be honest.
I am just trying to save money......I try to do follow that practice from when i didn't make a lot of money to now when I am comfortable. I think we need to be a little understanding about different situations that different people might be in....

I still don't understand how you don't get the fact that it is not $850 (in my case with a trade-in) all at once, but over 36 months. It's $23/month for me to upgrade, not $1000 or more at this exact moment in time. My device payment is going down from $39/month to $23/month by upgrading so why would I not want to lower my bill regardless of why? Go burn two $20 bills if you want because that is basically what I would be doing if I didn't try and succeed to get the fee waived.

I got tracking day after my Rep ordered mine for me. Its been in Tx since 9/13.

Updated ups this afternoon, left KY. Next day ship!

I got my FedEx tracking information today with delivery tomorrow. I figured this would probably happen since 9/19 showed at the beginning of my order process and then switched to 9/26 after the order was finalized. I know it's just a phone, but I haven't had a launch day iPhone since the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I tried to order a 17 PM. VZW told me on the website I didn't qualify for payments due to my credit. I have an 800+ credit score and zero issues with any bills. I've been paying for my 14 PM for three years on VZW!

Go to Apple and do the zero interest payments there?

IDK, I tried ordering on Apple and selecting the payment with Verizon and it still wanted me to pay outright. I don't understand because my credit is 100% perfect, no question. I'm probably just gonna go in person to Apple and get a battery replaced then do the upgrade.
