What people are paying for mobile service is almost as bad as cable bills.
I don't care about Shawn Mendes, but I don't think that word means what you think it means if it's for 2,000 people...One of the "Super Ticket" experiences is a private concert with musician Shawn Mendes for 2,000 customers in New York City on May 14.
Just checked as well. Starbucks, Amazon and Barnes and Noble are all down to $3 from $5. Good ol’ Verizon
this seems like a good rewards program. the t-mobile one is a joke. but that's not why i love 'em)
The TMobile one is just a way to sell ads that target their customers. That said, the “perks” are worth far more to customers who use them than it cost to advertise to them. I don’t use gas for my car, but despite that I have become more aware of where the Shell locations are. So I guess it works. Also, I now know there is another John Wick movie.
sorry, not sure what you mean. why is tmobile one a way to sell ads?.. how is tmobile one different from other plans?..
I think you are being sarcastic/funny, but I will clarity. The TMobile Tuesday is just a way for T Mobile to sell ads that target only their customers.
i'm sorry - i wasn't, just got confused by the word combination "tmobile + one" as that being the t-m's plan. gotcha. yes. so at what point does it start suggesting shell locations(i see the offer for shell in the app)
It's just above the ad for Dunkins. That's the ad.
i guess you have to click on it... i tried, but apparently it's not a tuesday!
My point was that I never noticed Shell locations until it started showing up in the T-Mobile Tuesday app. Apparently there is one down the street from where I live, but since I don't buy gas I never paid attention to it.
Which MVNO did you go with? I’ve been considering moving away from Verizon as well.I also opted out (before I left them) for the exact same reasons. It's not a net win if it means I give them more of my personal info to share with "partners."
However, I left VZW (after 15 years) for an MVNO last month and don't plan to return.
PIX Wireless. It’s been a mixed bag. Probably trying out Red Pocket soon. You can’t go directly to Red Pocket from Verizon though.Which MVNO did you go with? I’ve been considering moving away from Verizon as well.
i see. well as long as they don't start popping up in maps, i'd say it's no biggie.)
Oh agreed, as long as we call them ads and not perks.
I wouldn’t call it a joke, but yeah, don’t use a lot of the stuff. Some isn’t bad - $ off/free coffees at Dunkin every once in a while, and $ off Kroger is good.
Agree I’m not there for free stuff, but there is better free stuff at T-Mobile anyway. More than the Tuesdays app, I appreciate that I don’t have to worry about a Netflix bill (or, at least for now, any of the Netflix price raises) - that’s a real $150 savings a year for my family. And I’m leaning toward giving Money a shot, for the 4% rate which is almost double even the highest paying online savings account.
My experience so far. Used a Verizon Up on device update. Said it applied that whopping $5, didn't but marked it used. Used Verizon Up Target gift card....code was invalid so there's another $5 down the drain. Just went out to check what I can throw $5 down the toilet this month and I have 2 credits. Not much around since I live in a very small rural town but found an interesting restaurant. It's closed. Verizon could give me 100 a month and still be safe.this seems like a good rewards program. the t-mobile one is a joke. but that's not why i love 'em)

First thing I do is opt out of all this. Last I checked on Verizon's loyalty perks, it let them sell your habits/usage to advertisers. Signs you up for a ton of stuff you don't want. Getting out of this is painful and hidden deep in Verizon's settings.

Those maps, especially TMo’s, are notoriously...”generous”...or maybe....”optimistic” in regards to actual coverage, but that’s great if it’s working for you. Before we left VZW for Tmobile we checked coverage maps and found the places we go have identical coverage.
IMHO, Tmobile Tuesday is a joke, but they can continue to pay my Netflix account all they want.

Yes. If you read the fine print for the rewards program it essentially gives them the right to collect all that data. You HAVE to agree in order to be part of the rewards which seems too fishy for me.I remember seeing something on Verizon’s website that they will give you rewards if you agree to allow them to harvest analytical data, etc from you.
Is this the same thing?
