Verizon Trade-in program

Well I'm sure there may be a thread on this dug up somewhere among the other 2000 vzw iphone threads so if you know about it - link it.

Verizon is offering me a $50 credit + $44 for my BlackBerry Storm 2 trade in. As far as I understand these will be provided in gift cards or something. My question is, has anyone ever had such credits offered to them before and if so, are they applicable on the current phone purchase or only apply to the future ones?

Verizon pre-paid Visa card and you'll get it weeks after the purchase. You're best bet is your local craigslist. Have always sold my old Verizon phones in a matter of hours. For more money than these trade-ins offer too.

In my case, I sent in a few Droid Eris phones for $132 each. I'm surprised that phone snags such a hefty trade-in compared to other phones, but I sure don't mind, lol.

Agreed. I'm fairly sure, you will make more money and receive it faster than doing the Verizon trade in.
