Isn't there anyway to get this? I know I posted about this before but then I read another thread which made it seem like it is possible. Isn't there a way buy taking over a line from someone who has unlimited?

That's what I thought. Do you know if you can deactivate the voice portion at the end of a contract or does one have to keep it?

I was thinking of doing that but the Verizon rep said you can't keep the voice part of the iPad since it doesn't offer voice. Wonder if this is true.?
You cannot detach the voice portion of your plan. You can use your Verizon 4G Smartphone or Mobile Hotspot microsim in the new iPad. You will be billed according to how your microsim was provisioned (smartphone plan or MHS plan).
