Carrier Verizon Unlimited Data Subsidized Upgrades

so it looks like Verizon has finally blocked subsidized upgrades for devices on grandfathered unlimited data (GUD) plans.

Last year you could still order the phone on the line with GUD. It was supposed to kill your GUD, but as long as you destroyed the sim that came with the phone and used your old sim, you would be fine.

Now, they won't let you order on the GUD line itself via the apple website (when they check your upgrade status). It defaults to a full payment option with no subsidy.

Anyone know a way around it, or if it is different on different websites?

I have 4 lines on my account and it offered me the subsidized price on the Verizon website.
