Verizon UNLIMITED, thoughts?

So I am considering switching to the vzw unlimited plan from their XXL 18gb plan. My bill would go up $30 If I were to switch.

How is your experience with it? does it really slow down that much after 22gb? thank you so much!

I remember when Virgin Mobile was truly unlimited for just $25/month with no throttling. Used 30GB/month easily. Those were the good old days.
