Ordered, but not expecting a confirmation email. The account is in my dad's name, and there's no way to change the billing name for the credit card, so I just put my CC info in anyway.
Done. Two 64 GB 4Ss. Anyone know if my delivery will be delayed since I am a new customer and need credit verification?
No confirmation email. And when I log back into verizon, it doesn't recognize that I have ordered.
It also messed up transferring the upgrade from one line to the other. Before iPhone 4s came up, it confirmed that I have transferred. Once iPhone 4s become live, everything is out the window and I was force to upgrade the other reg line to smart phone line in order to order 2 iPhone 4s... now i have to call csr once I get the thing and all that hassle.. what a joke..
Also, what was the global option all about? I said no but I travel here and there to overseas.. i just didn't want things to delay me getting the phone.. is this something we can get later????

I did the same as the account is in my wifes name (she's asleep). I'm curious if it will go through since its her name but my credit card #?
Just ordered mine 16gb white. Wondering if it will go through, however, because my cc billing address is different than my shipping address/verizon billing address. Guess I'll just wait and see.

Curious about adding the Global option later as that's something I will use, but certainly not enough to pay a monthly fee for it. Had to pay $20 for an "early upgrade fee." Not the end of the world, but wasn't expecting that.

The early order available by Verizon speaks wonders about the company. I was going to hit the sack, but wanted to see how long it took Apple to get their site up an running. Ordered white 64 GB. Didn't add global cause assuming I can get SIM card from wherever I'm traveling obviously. Oh GSM!

PHEW! I held off on getting Verizon insurance, but I had read that you had to buy Applecare+ upon purchase, but nothing on Verizon's site addressed it. Do you know if we'll have to order it the exact day of launch and will we have to call Verizon customer care? That's always fun on a launch day. 3 hours of wait time galore.

I'm in the same boat. Since the name won't match my card, I'm worried the payment is gonna get declined and I'll be SOL for a while.
I have this same question - can you actually insert your own sim cards into the iPhone 4s at a later date for international travel, or does it have to be installed by Verizon at time of purchase? Also, if I DO go with the Global Option, am I paying for the Global package in addition to my normal fees, or do those charges only activate if I'm outside the US?
