*I was going to check my upgrade status today and guess what!! It said I was due for an upgrade December of 2011/Jan 2012! Well, I remembered a while back when I had the god-awful motorola rival as a phone (still sticking to feature phones because I disliked the Android OS and I had no other choice) so when I DEMANDED a different phone the sixth time I went in there (the phone broke 6 times, I had 6 of the same device for a one year period) so I was sick of getting a new even crappier moto-rival every two/three months, so the guy said he would move my upgrade date so he could give me a new phone at no charge, but, he said he would move my upgrade back to it's original date February/March! So I know that hasn't happened. I tried talking to VZW I got squat as a response, what should I do?

I would just chill out till June/July when the iPhone 5 is announced and see if Verizon does an early upgrade for you then.

In any agreement or terms, you should always get it in writing which would help in your case. I would have asked the rep to send me an e-mail stating that he would push back my dates to its original time.

Lesson learned I hope. Otherwise.. too bad for you.

Your SOL, reps don't even have the power to move upgrades forwards and backwards you signed a contract so your held to it until your upgrade date.

I believe you are wrong on this. A regular store rep moved my moms upgrade ahead almost by 4 months so she could get a smartphone from a feature phone.

I assume he's doing it to get an iPhone 4, and since people have threads about AT&T and other iPhone carriers all the time, I don't see the harm here.

Agreed. There could be Verizon users here at MR that could point him in the right direction. http://community.vzw.com/

No problem bro. Glad I could help. There are lots of helpful Verizon people on that other forum. Hope you can get your iPhone soon!!

Complain to the FCC haha. When I had VERIZON and they were screwing me back when they had no unlimited texts and refused to let me add 2 text plans to my line instead of paying overages I called the FCC and within a day someone high up at VERIZON called me apologized for the rude reps I had gotten gave me a month and a half free and offered to let me out of my contract.

Switch to AT&T...

The reason I left Verizon was for the iPhone, but after my experience with the customer service at AT&T, I will NEVER go back to Verizon. Verizon never missed an opportunity to screw me over: they "couldn't" move my stored numbers from one phone to another (same model), bricked a replacement phone when I brought it in to have it transferred to my line and then wouldn't accept responsibility, and tried to charge me $30 for internet access fees when my daughter clicked on the "find more ringtones" on her phone. They routinely acted like I was lucky to be on their network, and did nothing to ensure that I was a satisfied customer.

AT&T on the other hand will gladly back off overage surcharges and just have you change the plan you are on, so you just pay the regular rate for your usage, and then let you move back to the previous plan for no extra charge the next month. No extension of your contract, no penalties, nothing but fair treatment.

You will never get anything but misery from Verizon, it is written into their corporate DNA. Leave them as soon as possible, you won't regret it.

ZenAmateur, I sympathise with most of your complaints, but copying a phone book isn't a gimme, no matter how easy you might think it is. What if the data port/charging port is damaged, corroded, or missing? What if it's a touchscreen without a keyboard and the screen is damaged (there's a usb setting that is either right or wrong for data transfer, and if the screen is shot there's no way to fix it)?
