That's strange, if memory serves right, I was able to do this with AT&T in the past.

I think for those who have early upgrade options, it's not allowing it.

There's a lot of misinformation.

For those that can't do it through the app, what's your current account status? Do you owe money on your current device?

I own my phone on Verizon outright and it allows me to do a payment plan through Apple's App.

I JUST qualified for an upgrade today, so I think maybe the system doesn't recognize it yet.
